Key Takeaways

  • This is just the beginning. We continue to work on adding more currencies, enhancements and quality of life changes to

Every month, our product team works hard behind the scenes to build features, fix bugs, and refine your Bitwage experience. Here’s a closer look at what landed in June:

🇨🇴 COP Payouts for Individuals & Employees

We know many of you operate in Colombia or work with Colombian-based clients. To make your lives easier, we’ve added COP as a payout currency option for contractors and employees.

  • How to get started: Simply head over to the allocations section and enter your Colombian Pesos bank account details and you are ready to go!
  • What this means: Employees and contractors can now receive international payroll directly in Colombian Pesos.

  • No monthly subscription — pay per transfer
  • Supports bank, crypto, and stablecoin delivery
  • Automated invoicing and compliance records

🔄 Recurring Business Invoices—Fully Resilient

Recurring invoices help you automate billing and free up time. We fixed an edge case where recurring invoices tied to a specific worker would glitch if that worker was removed from your company roster.

  • What’s Changed: Once configured, recurring invoices run on schedule, be it weekly, bi‑weekly, or monthly, no matter staffing changes.
  • How to Edit or Pause: Head to Business Dashboard > Invoices > Recurring, and you’ll see full controls to edit amounts, change schedules, or pause and resume with a single click.

🛡️ Immutable Invoices for Bullet‑Proof Audits

Previously, invoice fields (like your company’s address) pulled live data, so if your company updated the company address on the Bitwage portal, all previously issued invoices would instantly reflect the new address. That could make it hard to see exactly what was on an invoice at the time it was issued.

Moving forward, once an invoice is generated, its details are locked in and can’t be overwritten by later profile updates. This ensures every issued invoice remains an exact, auditable snapshot of that moment in time.

🚀 Admin Portal Performance & Scalability

Growing teams demand more from their payroll tools. We’ve overhauled the architecture of our Admin Portal so it:

  • Processes More Payrolls: Bulk‑upload files of any size without timeouts.
  • Faster Reporting: Generate company‑wide payroll summaries in seconds.
  • Reliable Bulk Actions: Approve, reject, or batch‑schedule thousands of payments without hiccups.

📱 Clearer Mobile Navigation: Full Tab Names

A small but mighty tweak: On mobile, the Bitwage App now displays its full name instead of the abbreviated section. This improves discoverability and helps new users get oriented faster.

🤔 What’s Next?

This is just the beginning. We continue to work on adding more currencies, enhancements and quality of life changes to make your payroll experience that much easier.
